PRP Hair Restoration
Plasma Hair Restoration is a non-surgical treatment that uses the patient’s own blood plasma to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss.
HOW IT WORKS
The concentrated plasma, which is rich in platelets and growth factors, is injected into the scalp using fine needles where hair loss is most prominent. The growth factors in the plasma stimulate the hair follicles to grow thicker, stronger hair.
PRE-TREATMENT HAIR LOSS CONSULTATION
Your provider will conduct a thorough history with you and assess your hair loss condition to determine if PRP therapy is a suitable treatment option for you. We may draw labs depending on your history and hair loss pattern. We will also recommend supplements to optimize results.
TREATMENT
We recommend at least 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results, then continuing maintenance treatments every 4-6 months depending on your hair restoration goals.
RESULTS
Typically results are visible 2-4 months after your first treatment. Even beyond this time frame, the plasma hair restoration will continue to help stimulate growth for the next 6-9 months.
What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) involves the use of your body’s own platelets. Your treatment begins with a blood draw, then it’s spun in a centrifuge to separate out the PRP.
